Our production ethics

Production Cycle

We look at the whole clothing lifecycle, from production, use, until the disposal.

Production

All of our fabrics are GOTS certified, this certification reduces environmental impact and assures safe and ethical conditions for workers.

During production, we take steps to reduce waste production to minimum. We cut our fabric so there is as little residue as possible. The production is being held at a local manufacture in Slovakia under safe and ethical conditions.

Use

Many of the designs are made to be worn in multiple ways, which allows more flexibility and more fun while wearing the clothes and saves space in your wardrobe. Our clothes are also nicely fitting together, which creates many outfit possibilities.

Disposal

Once you want to switch up your wardrobe, it's not the end. Instead of making the effort to sell your clothes online or simply throwing them away, you can now easily send them back to us and receive money in the form of credits for your next purchase.

For the pieces that are too damaged to be used in a secondhand store, we have another way to repurpose them or recycle them ecologically.

GOTS Certified

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) has a clearly defined set of criteria and is transparent. GOTS is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

GOTS prohibits use of toxic chemicals in the manufacturing process, it requires use of less water in production, and makes sure that the work environment is ethical, safe, and fair for the workers. The production of GOTS certified cotton also reduces CO2 in the atmosphere through environmentally friendly farming. The effects of these measures are that the workers are paid for their work and can live a normal life, the environment around the factories is safe for humans and also for animals and plants. And that the effect of global warming is being reduced.

Ethical workplace

Our production is currently being held in Slovakia, at a local manufacture that our team visits personally. Also, the local regulations are very strict in how to treat workers.

What do we think needs improvement?

The current way the industry is delivering the packages is emitting high levels of CO2 and is environmentally unsustainable. We're looking for alternatives!
